Mahabaratham - Characters - V
* Vidhata
Son of Bhrigu Maharishi and Khyati, the daughter of Daksha. He had a brother named Dhata and a sister named Bhargavi.
* Vrishasena, Vrishaketu
Karna's sons were Vrishasena, Vrishaketu, Banasena, Chitrasena, Satyasena, Sushena, Shatrunjaya, Dvipata and Prasena.
* Vyaasa
Vyaasa maharishi was the son of Paraasara maharishi. Vyaasar gave the world the great epic of Mahabharatham.
When he got the content for the epic ready in his mind, he prayed to
Lord Brahma to suggest a suitable person to write the epic as he
narrated the story. Brahma said, Ganesha was best suited.
But Lord Ganesha put down one condition,
that Vyaasar should not hesitate or give a break during the
narration. Vyaasar agreed, but in his turn put the condition that
Ganesha should understand every line and then put it down in writing.
Thus the Vyaasa Mahabaratha was born.
